Noa Mogle
Noa Lia Mogle (b. 2004) is a young Israeli cellist. She began her cello studies at the age of seven with Mrs. Hila Karni, and after two years began studying under Professor Zvi Plesser. Noa studied under Prof. Plesser at the Israel conservatory of music in Tel Aviv for 9 years. She studied at the Arison Arts School in Tel Aviv and at the Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts. She is starting her 2nd year of studies at the Buchmann Mehta school of music, studying under Felix Nemirovsky. She is also serving compulsory service in the Israeli Defense Forces as an excelling musician.
Noa is a graduate of the Jerusalem Music Center, in which she took part in the David Goldman Program, the Huberman Program, the Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the international masterclasses program. She has had the opportunity as a student of the JMC to play several times on the Israeli Classical Music Radio Station -” Kol Hamusica”.
Noa took part in international music courses and festivals, such as the Perlman Music Program, Morningside Music Bridge, Keshet Eilon Summer Mastercourse, ISA of the MDW, Virtuoso Belcanto festival and international Mendelssohn festival.
Over the years, she has participated in many solo masterclasses with many well-known musicians, including Frans Helmerson, Gary Hoffman, Laurence Lesser, Maria Kliegel, Paul Katz, Claudio Bohorquez, Hans Jorgen Jensen, Xenia Jankovic, Amit Peled, John Kadz, Andres Diaz, and Kyril Zlotnikov, among others. She had the opportunity to perform in front of incredible musicians, such as Itzhak Perlman and Murray Perahia.
Regarding Chamber Music, Noa worked extensively under the guidance of Sergei Bresler of the Jerusalem String Quartet and had played in masterclasses for Eckart Runge, Merry Peckham, the Ariel Quartet, the Jerusalem String Quartet, Paul Biss, Ian Swensen, Timothy Chooi and more.
Noa had the opportunity of performing concerts in Israel, Italy, Germany, Austria and the United States.
Noa is 2nd prize winner of the national “Eran” competition for string players, 3rd prize winner of the annual competition of the Israel conservatory of music (2016, 2020). She has won outstanding excellence scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF), the Ronen foundation and the Israeli conservatory of music, as well full scholarships to the Perlman Music Program and Morningside Music Bridge.
