Winter Concerts
DATE: March 9th and 16th at 2pm EST
This concert occurred at Garrison Green and Fish Creek Residences by United Active Living. Many students of the Mount Royal Conservatory of Music attended this concert and performed works across many different eras.
September Concert Series
DATE: September 23rd at 3pm EST
Our organisation hosted a small concert at the Fish Creek senior home by the United Active Living Seniors Center in Calgary, Alberta. We included a variety of instruments and performances from talented musicians of all ages ranging from 5 to 16. It was a beautiful concert and the seniors’ enjoyed it greatly.
September Concert Series

FALL LIVE CONCERT
DATE: October 22nd at 9:30am MST
In collaboration with FROM ART TO HEART ORGANIZATION, we hosted our second live in-person concert since the beginning of COVID. We specifically targeted our impact on the Asian community in this event, performing for our local Chinese senior center: Clover Living.

APRIL 29TH LIVE CONCERT
DATE: April 29th at 3:00pm MST
On April 29th, we hosted our first LIVE IN-PERSON concert since COVID began! The concert was held at our longtime partner senior center: United Active Living. Bringing in three local pianists in Calgary, together, we celebrated the decline of COVID in our city and the beginning of a new era.

FEBRUARY 27 VIRTUAL ZOOM CONCERT
DATE: February 27th at 4:00 pm EST
On February 27, Capriccio International presented a End-of-Winter Virtual Concert for senior citizens on the West Coast of North America, specifically in Vancouver. As a symbol for the end of the winter season and the coming of spring, this concert serves as a farewell to the cold december and january months, welcoming change and freshness into the seniors’ lives.

MERRY CHRISTMAS VIRTUAL ZOOM CONCERT

On December 18th, we hosted our annual winter holidays concert for Verve Canterbury Senior Center in Ontario. To celebrate the holiday season, we brought to them a variety of music and pieces including Christmas Carols and other holiday-related arrrangements. AUGUST VIRTUAL ZOOM CONCERT

This summer of 2021, we celebrated the one year anniversary of the Capriccio International Young Artists! To honour this occasion, we hosted a virtual concert for a few senior centers on the west coast, where Anita performed a solo concert program containing Chopin, Beethoven, and many other classical composers. We hope this concert positively impacted the seniors and encouraged them to focus more on a bright possible future during these difficult times.

MAY VIRTUAL ZOOM CONCERT

On May 15, Capriccio International presented a May Virtual Concert for senior citizens on the West Coast of North America. As a symbol for the coming of summer, we hope this concert will also represent a brighter future, where we may once again play music live in front of an audience again!

As a celebration of spring and renewal, Capriccio International presented a beautiful spring concert for various senior centers. We brought happiness and music to seniors during these difficult times, spreading this idea of renewal and new beginnings in hope for a better 2021!

On Feb. 13th, we hosted a virtual zoom concert for Family Day! It’s been a difficult year for everyone, and we hope that our music can spread community spirit and help people during these trying times.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT 2020!

As a beautiful ending to the year of 2020, Capriccio International presented to various senior centers, a final Christmas concert to bring up their spirit and Christmas cheer.
Especially during these difficult times, we hoped to spread our holiday joy all around to seniors of the world.

OCTOBER 10 VIRTUAL CONCERT

On October 10th, we began our fifth virtual concert as a Halloween event and targeted the United Active Living Senior Community, bringing them an hour-long program of violin music!
We invited an extremely talented young musician who is an award-winning young violinist and absolutely phenomenal musician! She is absolutely wonderful and we hope to have her play for us again soon!

SEPTEMBER 3 VIRTUAL CONCERT
DATES: September 3 at 4:00pm EST
On September 3, we began our fourth virtual concert as a back to school event and targeted the US senior community specifically the SRG (Senior Resource Group), bringing them an hour-long program of string music!
We invited two extremely talented young musicians from Ontario who are both going to professional music schools this year. They are absolutely wonderful and we hope to have them back again next year!

AUGUST 27 VIRTUAL CONCERT

On August 27, we started our third virtual zoom concert of the summer season!
Moving more locally this time, we invited a local senior center with whom we have performed numerous times to enjoy this lovely concert presented by two musicians from Alberta!

We performed for over 40 seniors from two centers located in Ontario and even invited a young cellist from Poland to perform!
